Membership Information

Who are AITP members?
AITP is comprised of approximately 400 professional and student chapters in the US and Canada. AITP members are made up of individuals involved in all facets of the IT industry. Membership includes, but is not limited to:

Leadership Opportunities
With the local chapter, you have the opportunity to obtain management skills or contribute what you already know by serving as an officer for an annual term as President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary.

You can also volunteer to serve on one or more of our chapter committees: Awards Committee, Membership Committee, Program Committee, and Publicity Committee

Serving in one of these positions will not only contribute to the growth and success of your local chapter, but can also lead to your own professional development as well as personal growth.

Educational Opportunities
The Phoenix Chapter conducts regularly scheduled “Lunch and Learn” or "Breakfast Bytes” sessions. Speakers are invited from various organizations and industries to talk about relevant IT issues and hot topics. Meetings are held at various locations throughout the valley to provide convenient locations for all members.

Networking Opportunities
At various meetings and events throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to network with experienced peers in the IT profession.

Job Opportunities
Access to current job listings in the IT field posted by members and affiliates.

Partnerships
All new members receive a free Microsoft Office class or one technical audit with New Horizons in Tempe, Arizona. We also work with companies such as Microsoft TechNet and Robert Half Technology to bring you quality programs and events.
